Summer Solstice Paddle | DAC | Sat 19th June | 8pm-10pm | Age 8+ | Adult £30 | Child £25

 The Summer Solstice is a pivotal date in the astronomical calendar since man first looked to the sun and stars to mark the passage of time. Come and make the most of the extra sunlight on this evening paddle and learn about the solstice. Tours will be on a choice of Stand-up paddleboards or sit-on-tops to admire the stunning views of our lake.

Torches advisable and wear warm layers and waterproofs as you may get wet.

JULY 


Doggy Paddle | DAC | Sat 24th July | 3pm-5pm | Age 8+ | Adult £30 | Child £25

This is an exciting and fun new activity for 2021 and provides an opportunity to have an adventure with your best canine friends be they SUP pups or kayak hounds! We will spend a bit of time to start with familiarising your pet with the paddleboards or sit-on-top kayaks floating on the water before heading out for a tour of the lake. Afterwards there will be a slice of homemade cake for owners and treats for your dog. We provide buoyancy aids for humans but due to the sheltered nature of our lake we do not provide them for dogs. You are welcome to bring your own doggy buoyancy aid if you have one.

New for 2021! Come and enjoy the magnificent sunsets our lakes have to offer in style. Marvel at the changing colours and peaceful venue as you watch the sun go down to the tune of our roosting birds settling for the night .Get close to nature as you paddle gently on stand-up paddleboards and see if you can spot herons, geese and maybe a kingfisher!

New for 2021! What better combination than a stand-up-paddleboard tour of the lake with a stop to enjoy ‘supper’ in the form of cake whilst on the water? All this from the comfort of your board with views over our tranquil Black Swan Lake and sounds of birds calling as they roost creating a truly unique experience.

Perseids Meteor Shower Paddle | DAC | Fri 13th August | 9pm-11pm | Age 8+ | Adult £30 | Child £25

Marvel at shooting stars and find out about the annual Perseids meteor shower with the scenic Black Swan Lake as your backdrop on this guided paddle. You will have the choice of either a stand-up paddleboard or sit-on-top kayak. Enjoy the atmosphere of the lake at night and add some extra sparkle with glow sticks.
