We provide a diverse range of activities throughout the term for our visitors to choose from.
Forest School
Ages 6 - 9 | 10:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 15:00 | Saturdays | Term time
Welcome to our exciting Forest School programme, where nature becomes the classroom and curiosity leads the way! Over the course of six weeks, participants will embark on a journey filled with hands-on outdoor experiences designed to foster a deep connection with the natural world.
Our carefully crafted curriculum includes engaging activities such as mini-beast exploration, where participants will uncover the fascinating world of insects and small creatures. Pond dipping offers a unique opportunity to discover the wonders of aquatic life, while tree studies encourage a greater understanding of our leafy companions.
Adventure awaits with orienteering, where participants will develop navigational skills and explore the forest's hidden gems. The art of shelter building adds an element of survival skills, as participants work collaboratively to create their own outdoor haven. To top it off, fire lighting sessions provide an exhilarating experience, teaching essential fire safety and outdoor cooking skills.
Through this diverse and immersive Forest School programme, participants will not only learn about the environment but also develop resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the great outdoors. Dinton Mini Rangers
Ages 2 – 5 | 9:30 -11:00 or 11:00 - 12:30 | Sundays | Term time I Parent supervision is required
Our carefully crafted 90min sessions are designed to immerse children in the wonders of the great outdoors, fostering a deep connection with nature through a variety of engaging activities.
Every week, our young adventurers will have the opportunity to explore their creativity and connect with the natural world through activities such as Den Building, where they can unleash their imagination and construct their very own outdoor hideaways. Natural Artwork sessions allow them to express themselves using materials found in the environment, creating beautiful masterpieces inspired by the world around them. But that is not all – prepare for some messy fun as we delve into Mud Faces, a delightful activity that encourages children to get hands-on with nature while crafting their own unique mud pictures on a tree. And, of course, the excitement continues with our Nature Scavenger Hunt, where the thrill of discovery awaits as they embark on a quest to find what is hidden in the great outdoors.
Junior Sailing Club
Ages 8-12 | 9:30am-12:30pm | Saturdays | Term time
Bookings must be made in advance to guarantee space. Saturday sessions are for RYA Stage 1 and above.
These regular clubs help keep your skills up between courses, and participants are encouraged to become independent, confident sailors.
Single session bookings or get a discount for a 6 week booking.
Teen Sailing Club
Ages 13-16 | 1:30pm-4:30pm | Saturdays | Term time
Bookings must be made in advance to guarantee space. Saturday sessions are for RYA Stage 1 and above.
These regular clubs help keep your skills up between courses, and participants are encouraged to become independent, confident sailors.

These activities are a great opportunity to keep fit, make new friends and develop water confidence.
- No prior experience or qualifications needed for most activities
- Helmets, buoyancy aids and wetsuits provided
- Car parking permits included for pick up and drop off
Some of our activities have a set programme so you know what to expect. On other activities, we encourage the participants to set their own programme based on their interests. We can't always guarantee that the programme won't change, sometimes at very short notice, due to matters outside of our control.
