Children climbing the indoor wall at Dinton Activity Centre

Dinton Activity Centre Indoor wall

A high-octane fun for all the family. Climb up to 7 meters high and explore a variety of challenges on our unique wall. The colourful hand painted murals capture the beautiful lake and woodland scenes from the country park. As you climb the walls you will notice all the flora and fauna of Dinton come to life as you climb the triffid out of the lake or say hoot to the owl at the top of the tree. This climbing experience combines environmental exploration with the physical adrenaline of climbing as you search for all the animals on the wall.

The climbs are suitable for beginner to intermediate, so there is something for everyone and no previous experience is required.

Book Now

Equipped with 11 automatic belays, our fun holds and wildlife murals are a clip and go haven of adrenaline filled exploration. We only book in 10 climbers per session so there is plenty of room for everyone, meaning less waiting and more climbing!

Children under the age of 14 must be directly supervised within the climbing facility. The maximum ratio for supervision is one adult per two children.

SEN Climbing (Special Education Needs)

SEN and Autism Family friendly - Indoor Climbing Sessions - 1 hour sessions

We are excited to announce that we have added new dates for our SEN climbing sessions:

  • 18th and 25th April
  • 2nd and 23rd May
  • 6th and 20th June

A comfortably paced climbing session designed for individuals with additional needs. We strive to make it inclusive for everyone interested in climbing, though currently, we are unable to accommodate climbers who are fully wheelchair-bound (although we are actively working on addressing this for future sessions). Some level of mobility is necessary to participate. The session will be limited to a smaller group, allowing for a more personalised experience with only 5 participants. While there won't be crowds, the presence of parents or carers is required. Additionally, there will be no background music during the session.
