Introduction to Dinghy Sailing

Junior Sailing Weeks

Learn To Sail This Summer With Us

£200 Weekend | Age 16+ | 9:30am-5pm | Saturday - Sunday

Following the Royal Yachting Association Level 1 syllabus, this course introduces you to the wonderful world of dinghy sailing and will enable you to hire one of our single handed dinghies.

We will be teaching in smaller groups of six students to one instructor, and indoor time kept to a minimum. Showers will not be in use (unless emergencies) so we ask participants to shower at home of an evening.

Wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids will be issued where needed at the start of the course and will be in your care for the duration of the course. We will take these items back and disinfect the equipment at the end of the course.

What to expect

Due to current restrictions the course will only be taught in single handed dinghies (topper topaz) and will be taught with 6 participants to 1 instructor.

Your own copy of the RYA National Sailing Scheme Syllabus and Logbook (G4) is included as part of the course.
