Activity Parties

Welcoming back Party Groups for Summer!

Enjoy a special birthday party with a difference. Our outdoor adventure parties provide fun and games on the water or in the woodlands.

"We had our children’s birthday party at the Activity Centre today, archery and kayaking. Nicki the party host was lovely, the children had such a great time and felt very covid safe. Several parents and their children have said it was the best party their children had been to. Thank you!"

We have a few restrictions due to COVID-19

  • Showers are for emergency use only.
  • Some activity options have been removed from the offer due to social distancing.
  • We can only use multiple occupancy craft where 1m plus additional mitigations can be put in place, thus many of our water sports ratios are now reduced.

What to expect when you arrive?

Groups will gather in the garden (come rain or shine) where they will be asked to stand socially distant from each other until everyone has arrived. Our instructor team will then deliver a welcome and safety briefing including notes around good hand washing, social distancing, use of the toilets and changing procedures post activity.

Access to the building will be for toilet, changing and bag storage only. We thus strongly suggest you only book for a half day of activities so you don’t need to find shelter over lunch.

You can hire the activity hall for an additional cost. The Activity hall has a reduced capacity of 20 people to ensure social distancing can be maintained. See our hall hire information

Everyone will be required to use hand sanitiser upon entering the facilities.

Party goers will need to come ‘beach ready’ (i.e. swim wear under clothes) to reduce changing room use.

Track and Trace

All groups will need to complete a group consent form before visiting. The party organiser must stay on site for the duration of the activity. That designated person will hold the group register and all of the medical information and parental consents. This is our everyday procedure.  The difference is that we are asking the party leader to take responsibility for keeping the attendee list for a minimum of 21 days to comply with track and trace. Should there be an outbreak, we would notify that party organiser and disseminate that way.
