Parking and location

Dinton Pastures is an oasis of woodland, meadow and lakes in the midst of the most urbanised part of the Thames Valley. Easily accessible for both visitors and local residents with nearby public transport and motorway links.

Public transport

The nearest train station is Winnersh, which is serviced by South West Trains and Great Western Railway. The latest train travel information is available from National Rail Enquiries.

The country park is on the Courtney Bus routes 126, 128, 129 and the nearest stop is opposite the main entrance. The current bus timetables are available from Courtney Buses.

You can get information about planning your journey to the country park at the My Journey Wokingham website. This great resource has more information on cycle routes, walking maps and public transport timetables.

Driving to us

The Country Park is well sign posted and easily accessible from the A329M, M4 and A4. Less than thirty minutes drive from Maidenhead, Slough, Henley, Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell. Enter RG10 0TH into your sat nav or favourite mapping service.

Parking

We have six car parks and over 500 spaces spread out around the multiple entrances to the park. We charge a small car parking fee which helps to contribute to the maintenance of the country park and other nature reserves around Wokingham borough.

Pay and display tickets are available from the car park ticket machines. Car parking charges apply from 6am to 10pm daily. Car parks are open only from and to the advertised time on site. If the gates are open after these times, don't assume they will stay open. Your car could get locked in. If you are locked in it costs £80 to unlock the gates. The main entrance gate automatically opens at 6:45am and closes at 9pm.

You can also use our phone and online payment service to pay car parking charges using your debit or credit card. Call 020 304 60060 from your UK mobile and follow the verbal instructions. You'll need our location code (23817), your payment card details and your car registration. We recommend registering first on the RingGo website. Smartphone users may also download the app from the RingGo website.
